WELDED HEAT EXCHANGERS

Used in the world's most demanding industries, they offer outstanding reliability and efficiency. Our welded heat exchangers include spiral heat exchangers, all-welded frame heat exchangers, welded plate-and-shell heat exchangers and tube-in-tube heat exchangers.

Welded spiral heat exchangers

  • Welded spiral heat exchangers, which are used in purely liquid and two-phase applications in many industrial units around the world, are a real solution to problems – they prevent build-up, clogging and practically never stop.
  • The design-specific self-cleaning functions ensure exceptionally long service life and quick and easy maintenance.
  • Depending on the application, spiral heat exchangers can be used for many years without having to be dismantled, while shell-and-tube heat exchangers would be significantly contaminated in the same application.
  • Maintenance costs are surprisingly low.
  • Spiral heat exchangers can be used in the petrochemical industry, refineries, during steel, pulp and paper processing, and also the processing of minerals (metals, ores), wastewater treatment (municipal and industrial), pharmaceuticals production, refining vegetable oils and transporting natural gas.

All-welded plate-and-frame heat exchangers

  • The all-welded plate bundle does not require gaskets between the plates and can be operated with a wide range of corrosive media even at high temperatures and pressures.
  • The corrugated plate profiles create high turbulence resulting in a heat transfer coefficient three to five times higher than that of shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
  • Compabloc is ideal for heat recovery in corrosive operating environments and for handling aggressive liquids of all kinds at high temperatures.
  • It can be installed virtually anywhere thanks to its compact design – as a condenser or boiler for distillation or evaporation towers, as a condenser for reactors and in a wide range of other heat exchanger applications.
  • Ideal choice in processes involving boiling, condensation and liquid-to-liquid heat exchange in chemical, petrochemical and refining plants.
